Memories
(surprising statement)We have so many memories, it sometimes seems like we could write a novel. (CM)Memories are a huge part of our lives, we tell them to others so we can re-live a certain time. (CM)We tell friends and family about our memories so we can make a memory with them. (statement of main point)In the bookTo Kill A Mocking Bird, by Harper Lee tells us about all of her memories with her friends and family, wether they are good, or bad.
(TS)Harper Lee, like many people, wrote a book about an important memory in her life. (SD)She told the story by telling other little memories about her friends and family.(CM)An example of this would be in the first chapter when she talks about the different people in her life at the time.(CM)These memories are part of the whole, and help put the big picture together.(SD)When she writes about her memories, she uses a technique I've never seen before.(CM)She can write her memories in a way that makes you question her age when writing that specific part of the book.(CM)This style of writing brings her memories together in a way that makes them flow easier and brings everything together.(SD)Finally, the way she lived made her memories very different from the ones we are used to hearing.(CM)Living in the mid-20th century, she was rased differently than most of the people now a days.(CM)This makes her story more interesting because of the way she lived.(CS)In this book Harper Lee was very good at making the most of her memories, and putting them into a story so others could experience them.
(TS)In my life, memories are a huge part of who I am.(SD)For instance, when i am with my friends and family, we like to share funny memories with each other.(CM)We enjoy doing this because it brings us closer together.(CM)We learn a lot about each other when we do this and we form newer, stronger bonds.(SD)With out our memories to share, what would we have to talk about?(CM)We share our memories with so many people daily with out even noticing.(CM)Wether we're talking about what we did on the weekend, or what used to love to do when we were five, we are sharing our memories with one another.(SD)When I meet someone new, I share memories with out even really thinking about it.(CM)I do it naturally, sharing our memories is what we do to het people to trust us.(CM)We don't even do it on purpose, but when someone shares something personal, you naturally so the same.(CS)With out the ability to share memories, we would be completely different from the way we are now.
