(Sentence 1)Almost anything can be described by a metaphor because everything can be compared to something. (Sentence 2)Though everyone is unique, we all resemble something or someone else. (Sentence 3)Metaphors can describe not only your physical characteristics, but your personality and characteristics as well. (Sentence 4)A “red little rooster” is a good Metaphor for Bob Ewell because it fits his personality perfectly.

(TS)Harper Ann Lee used what she thought to be the perfect metaphor for Bob Ewell because he really does act like a red little rooster. (SD)When Mr.Ewell was on trial he was very sure of himself. (CM)The way he reacted to Atticus questioning him showed how confident he was that he could outsmart everyone. (CM)His confidence was the key part to the metaphor because he was practically puffing his chest out with confidence just like a fresh rooster would. (SD)Mr.Ewells confidence in himself earned him a good metaphor, but nothing else. (CM)If Mr.Ewell had stopped acting like a red little rooster he might have done better in court. (CM)Because he was acting so confident, like no one could figure him out, Atticus had an advantage over him. (CS)Bob Ewell was no better than a little red rooster in this chapter because he honestly thought he could successfully lie to the court, but in reality, Atticus could see right through him.

(CS)I believe almost anything can be described by a metaphor, including myself. It can be hard trying to decipher what kind of metaphor you are, because you have to be able to look at yourself from every angle. (SD)I think the best metaphor f\to describe me is a miscellaneous cat. (CM)I love to watch people, to observe what they are doing just like a cat sits and watches everything around it. (CM)Though I am not as good at this as the cat, I can only keep it up for a few minutes before I get bored. (SD)I am also like a cat because I love to play. (CM)A cat has many aspects in its life, sometimes it likes to play, sometimes it just wants to relax and watch. (CM)The playful side of the cat is the more dominant part of me, I love to spend time with my friends and laugh. (CS)Though I am satisfied with my metaphor there are probably hundreds of others that could fit me better because I have so many different parts of me

(Sentence 1)We are all different, but some of us share a common trait. (Sentence 2)This ties in with metaphors because everything can be related to something else in some way. (Sentence 3)If a rooster could be used to compare someone’s personality, then there are thousands of things that could describe everyone on the planet. (Sentence 4)The only real challenge is finding out what personality traits we hold. Looking at ourselves in an inhuman way can be good. If we don’t like the character that perceives us, we can strive to change it.

(TS)Irony is a big part of every one's lives. Not all of the characters in To Kill a Mocking Bird realize that.(SD)Scout got a large dose of irony in one night.(CM)Even though Scout had no idea she was jumping into a group of unfamiliar men, she still did what most would think was impossible.(CM)It wasn't until after when she realized the irony in this; and instead of making her laugh, it made her cry.(SD)When Scout was listening to Atticus and Aunt Alexandra talking about Calpurnia, she thought they were talking about her.(CM)She was sure that everyone loved Cal just as much as she did, so it seemed impossible that anyone would want to get rid of her.(CM)The irony in this is sad, because Scout loves Cal, but she might have to leave if everyone else says they don't.(SD)When Uncle Jack was looking up the Finch's heritage, he said that he could trace back very far; but for "all he knows we mighta come straight out of Ethiopia durin' the Old Testament."(Lee, 216).(CM)It's interesting to see how the Finch's try so hard to make sure that they are white, but they can't be sure.(CM)It's ironic how they try so hard to be better than a race of people, but all the same they might be one of them.(CS)Irony is something we all experience at one point or another. Some things don't seem ironic until after they have happened; and sometimes they don't seem ironic at all because it can have a negative outcome. But we all have to realize that it's just part of life, and it was always there, we just never noticed it before.

(TS)Irony is something we all have to live with. Coincidence, for example, can be considered as a form of irony. (SD)A small irony in my life is that I love to eat curry, a tasty spice from India, but I am allergic to it. (CM)I have always loved to eat chicken and curry, but every time I would consume it, I would get the worst stomach aches. (CM)When I found out I was allergic, I was very upset at the fact I would no longer be able to eat my favorite Indian foods because of this inconvenient allergy. The irony at the time seemed very strong to me only because I was so frustrated with myself. (SD)Another life that is affected on a large scale by irony is my mother. (CM)My mother loves animals and furry creatures very much. But she is actually very allergic to some. (CM)This was always a problem for her; any time I would want to get a furry pet other than a dog she would have to say no. her allergy has since become a less dominant part of her life; she can be near most of her furry friends without getting sick. (SD) The human race in general can live a very ironic life. (CM)Many people think that to be happy, you must be rich. (CM)But the truth is most people who are rich are very unhappy. If you turn on any celebrity news show I can guaranty you that you will see at least five people whose lives are ruined because of the money they make.(CS)Most people find fault in irony, that it makes them sad or mad, but really it’s just the way you look at it. Irony should be seen as something to laugh at. When things do not go your way and irony takes the front row seat, you should laugh at the amusing parts of it and forget the rest.
